Anlässlich einer Routinebesichtigung wurde der Bauherr Graf Martinic Clam auf den schlechten Bauzustand seines Uhrturms aufmerksam.
Der ursprünglich mit Fichtenschindeln eingedeckte Turm erforderte erhebliche Restaurationen bzw. Erneuerungen in der statischen Konstruktion, um wieder stabil und sicher besichtigt werden zu können. Die Holzkonstruktion wurde mit einer Kupfertafeldeckung im Doppelfalzsystem verkleidet. So wird der ehrwürdige Uhrturm auch künftigen Generationen viel Freude bereiten!
